L & S on the iPod...what else do you need to know?

Nothing fancy interface-wise here, but the app merits 5 stars simply because it is one of the few Latin eDictionaries out there that gives you full access to a true Latin dictionary. Moreover, Lews & Short, as stated in the description, is a great resource for medievalists, as it extends into the Late Antique period, providing meanings not found in Classical dictionaries. The app itself is simple and easy to use, with a nice, clean display for definitions. The only suggestion Id make for a new version would be an option to search only after a word is fully typed in. As it is now, each keystroke causes the program to search through its word list for matches, which can slow things down a touch. But that is only a minor quibble. Thanks to the developer for making this app and making it available at a reasonable price.
